     The Cape Charles maintains a low profile on the water surface.  The bow is similar to an arrow. It drives through on-coming waves, which allows paddlers to keep their speed up.  The Cape Charles is playful, not only in rough seas, but also in calmer waters due to the “rockered” hull. This feature gives the paddler greater control for turns in tight situations.  Stephen (the owner of Wave Dancer Productions) uses this kayak to race on rivers with multiple bends.  The Cape Charles has plenty of storage room for day trips and short camping trips.
