Chuck was in the Great Valley Fireman’s Regatta Race.
Stephen Crowell moved up the pack to follow him to the finish line.
On the ride back Chuck asked about his kayak and said that if a fat old man
could catch him, he needed a similar kayak. In 2005 he won in his division at
the Arnold Basset Memorial Canoe and Kayak Race.
This was the first race that he entered with our kayak.

Where kids make canoes out of cardboard and then
race them. This year’s winner was
Jesse Peck. You might see him on
our travels. Since he is Kristan’s son.
